It doesn't matter who is here at any given time don't you see that?
Everyone is reading/writing to the the delphi NGs because of *delphi*.
At any given time you can ask *any* question about delphi here and get a
good sample.
I think you are too fixated on individuals Bob. And this is particularly
what makes your stance so weak, given your self-proclaimed expertise on
statistics. Your "random sample/self selection" argument is a red-herring.
As there are other samples (of which these forums are a great example) which
can be just as a representative as other techniques.
And the rest of your message has just gone off the rails, so I'll just let
it rest...
