Thanks to the nudge from the 25% discount coupons Nick was giving out,
I bought D2005 Pro, which arrived today. Installation went without a
hitch, and took about 25 minutes.

Initial program start time on my system (WinXP Pro, AMD 3000+ CPU, 1 GB
Ram, SATA hard drive) is about 42 seconds. Subsequent starts are about
15 seconds.

All in all, pretty painless purchase and install. Now I've got to load
the patch, and my third party tools, but that's mostly DevEx and Nexus,
so I don't expect any trouble there.

I don't know that I'm going to port my current D7 project into D2005,
but I plan to use it from the get-go on two commercial products I'll be
starting in January.
