Isn't it great to hear in here from people that have actually got a copy of
    Delphi 2005?

    Well, not me!

Back in June I purchased D8 pro with SA from Borland Australia, who were
only too happy to take my money and deliver the product.

    So good so far.

Since November I have been waiting patiently (more or less) for my copy
Delphi 2005 pro, but so far I did not get it. I am a one-man shop running my
business from home. Incidentally in late November I shifted house and a week
before I did so, I called Borland Australia sales to let them know of my new
address in case they want to send me my copy of D2005. The consultant on the
line told me he could not take my new details, because he was not in charge
of my account (imagine that!), but the person in charge who was sick at the
time would give me a call when he was back on deck. That, of course, never
    happened.

Three days after I moved I called Borland Sales again and managed to speak
to "my" sales consultant and informed him of my new address etc (phone
number stayed the same, btw, so there was really no excuse for not calling
    me).

Time went by and mo Delphi 2005 for me.

In the week before the week before Christmas I called "my" consultant again
and he said that he would try to find out what's going on and get back to
    me.

    Which he did not.

So I called again two days later. Again I got promised that he would get
    back to me. Again nothing.

Another day later I sent an e-mail to someone in charge and two minutes(!)
later "my" consultant rang me to tell me, that DHL may have stuffed up when
they tried to deliver it to my old address, which was vacant at the time.
Mind you, this was a few days AFTER I actually gave them my new address
details. Apparently someone had signed my delivery. The signature reads
"Autag", which is my business name and no person by that name exists (at
least no one I have heard about).
I told him that that doesn't help me and asked him what would happen now. He
said he would get in touch with DHL and dig my package out of their
warehouse, because he suspects that the delivery man may have signed it
himself to get rid of the issue of tracking me down or something to that
effect. I told him that I would really, really like my copy now and nothing
of this is my fault. He told me, that this would actually be faster than
shipping a new copy from Singapore. I asked him to keep me informed and

Nearly another week went by (with Christmas in between) and I still did not
get anything or hear anything. I tried to reach Borland Australia on the
phone, which did not work that day, because their phone menu system lead
into dead ends only. So I sent another e-mail and got another phone call.
This time "my" consultant told me that someone had signed a permission to
leave at address form signed with "Autag" and that the package was left at
the door (remember: it was vacant at the time and the real estate agency in
charge did not know of anything). Doh. Once again I asked him to simply ship
out a new copy. Even if the other copy would show up somehow somewhere, I
would only own one legal copy.
He said that he could do that, but would first need to "block" the other
copy's serial number before he could do that.

Now, that's an interesting twist. I start to feel accused of fraudulently
trying to obtain something here. What is this? Presumption of guilt until I
can prove myself innocent? As far as I can see I have not done anything
wrong, nor have I failed to let Borland know about my change of address.

Maybe it's just because I'm not an Enterprise high-flyer. Maybe it's just
not worth dealing with me. I don't know. Maybe they aren't even doing
anything and just waiting for the issue to go away by itself.

Is this the way Borland (Australia) treats their customers? I have so far
made at least ten phone calls, written about five emails and am very angry
    right now.

What more can I do to get what I have paid for?
