The word "Bright" got too much attention, while the actual things I
listed are pretty much ignored.
I meant "bright" in the sense that D7 isn't dead, that it will be useful
for a few more years. I clearly stated that I only expect to legally
install D7 on additional workstations, and get bug fixes.
I didn't ask for backporting new stuff from D200X back to D7, I didn't
ask for any new features, I didn't ask for much needed improvements that
require fundemental changes (eg. Unicode VCL).
All I asked for is bug fixes and be able to buy D7. I don't think that's
a lot to ask, especially that D8 & D2005 are simply "not there" as
productive Win32 development platforms.
