Hi, all
Just simple and very unpleasant issue of Delphi IDE:
In my development team we always were using 3 spaces for block indent. And
always from Delphi 4 to Delphi 2005 when I press Ctrl+Shift+C (and
anywhere when Delphi generate some code) IDE generate source with 2 space
indention! I am asking for big change in IDE? Is it insane to ask for
simple thing: IDE must 'listen' what programmer want?
How you guys solve this problem? Don’t tell me about source reformatting
programs ;).
P.S. There is a QC report back in 2002 for Delphi 6 and 3 years later –
nothing changed. Very sad.
Borland ask us "please report issues about Delphi 2005 to fix them in next
update", but what is the point? Most of fixed issues are strange and rare
problems in dbExpress and anywhere, but some of the everyday problems in
IDE still there.
Cheers,
