Aren't you people tired of beating this dead horse?

For goodness sakes, the guy wants to use a blocking program for his
KIDS, then LET HIM. I really don't think his children (or yours) will
grow up to be socially-retarded if they were denied access to
political web sites when they were in grade school.

He's not advocating that EVERYBODY use it.
He clearly stated it's for his CHILDREN.

I think you can safely assume that he will configure his PC in such a
way that when his children are using the computer, the "cybersitter"
will be active.

When it's someone OTHER than his kids using the computer, the web will
be completely open and free to all that comes with it, be it good or
bad.
