I do, but those timing tests were from before I installed them. I just
dug up my original post, which was more precise :

"Initial program start time on my system (WinXP Pro, AMD 3000+ CPU, 1 GB
Ram, SATA hard drive) is about 42 seconds. Subsequent starts are about
15 seconds."

what others are seeing. Again, it's much slower on my notebook, but
that's to be expected, as it's got a slower CPU, less RAM, and a
4200rpm hard drive.

The start up time doesn't really bother me as much as the sense of
sluggishness while using the IDE.

It isn't, or rather, I haven't put it there. I was kind of hoping
someone would be able to verify that it isn't just a local gremlin on
my system before I made the effort to enter it in QC. If someone else
gets it, I'll QC it.

Oh hey, groovy. That fixes it right up. Thanks!
