Trust me. You don't wanna switch to Linux. Only do so if you're planning
on spending MONTHS reading things like HOWTO's in order to do simple
tasks like setting up a printer.
A lot of people think that Linux being free and open means liberation.
No. You get what you pay for. It's a hell of a lot more complicated to
learn and maintain. But if your time is worth nothing and you have no
bills to pay, then hey, by all means go for it.
But I'm sure once you've learned it though, you'll have a wonderful,
stable environment to work with. But just try explaining to your client
that his entire company hangs by a bunch of ondocumented perl scripts.
And try helping your distressed user on the phone by starting a sentence
with "click on start. Go to 'shell'. And now type ..."
