Well, that's not the problem. Under the circumstances, as you say, this
aspect of the architecture is definitely a plus. Although I refuse to
believe that the current bugfest scenario was a design driver from the
start. If I were Borland, I'd be cringing heavily at the fact that the
standard install gets ripped apart like this to become useful. If that
was truly intended, they should have delivered JED's DCM with it
out-of-the-box.

My understanding is that the Galileo IDE was designed from scratch in
order to be able to support all these new features (instead of trying to
tack them onto the old D7 IDE). If Galileo is overloaded already now (at
"Release 1.0" in your reckoning), then there is *certainly* a design
flaw.
