In my conversations with consumers and businesses, I see no demand
for 64 bit processors. That may change, with Microsoft's flashy
marketing. Businesses I talk to may want a little faster, but
they're more concerned that they not have to buy new software.
Consumers I talk to are, for the most part, either still "just
dabbling in email, maybe a little photography" (the "AOL set"), or
buying whatever the latest game says is a recommended system.
