Groups similar components together in the ObjectInspector dropdown...
But separates related controls (eg the CustomerLabel and CustomerEditBox would be apart if called lblCustomer and edtCustomer).
And I have yet to find anyone who actually uses the OI dropdown very much. Most people just click on the component they want most of the time (even the ones who say they use the dropdown) :-) This is especially true if there are many controls, IME.
