There is an explanation for all this. It isn't that Symantec is so
idiot to realease a commercial product that requires .NET. The problem
is that Symantec acquired PowerQuest (the authors of DriveImage 7,
which already required .NET). Norton Ghost 2005 9.0 is DriveImage 8
renamed.
