dumb editors???

I know this is not Delphi specific. I thought of posting in bpot, but
then the thread would just turn into another rant against President
Bush!

Why are there so many errors in the code snippets in programming
books? To have errors in the text is one thing but shouldn't code be
revised more carefully. Or is that part of the "it's good enough
syndrome" that so many people suffer from?
