Further evidence MS hasn't abandoned Win32 development

Page 5, upgrades:

"Microsoft has started shipping Visual FoxPro 9.0. This latest
release lets developers use hierarchical XML and Web services, and
also can communicate with SQL Server through enhanced SQL
capabilities and new data types. The language produces Win32
binaries, not .NET code. Microsoft has committed to support Visual
FoxPro, which costs US $649 per seat, through 2014."

Nine more years of Win32 development. I'd say Win32 products will
continue to work for quite some time on MS operating systems.
That's further encouragement for me that I don't need to rush to
..NET.
