Sure they do, do you remember J++? If Borland didn't have the insight to
jump ahead of MS and develop JBuilder instead of following MS down the
Visual J++ path there wouldn't be a JBuilder today, and Borland probably
wouldn't exist. I can see the eco system analogy as far as the operating
system goes but not from a development tools stand point.
