D2005 Trial Update 3 ...



(Firstly thanks to the folks at Borland for making the Trial available
with Update 3.  You guys are working hard and /yes/ we do notice.)

Downloaded the trial (with Update 3). Can't see for the life of me any
of the sluggishness that's been discussed here. Non of the "form-switching" delays that I can see. (Well, not that I notice
anyway). To all those who haven't tried, please do yourself a favour
and give it a go.


It's snappy, responsive and it looks jam-packed with a shait load of
useful stuff. <g>  That "extract method" trick is heaven-sent.

Time to get my cheque ready!

ps.  I think I am going to miss JEDI quite a bit. :(  ... I hope for
a short while though.

ps2:  I've been mainly looking at the MastApp demo as a reference
example to convert our current win32 client to .NET.  Are there any good
articles on hints, caveats etc when converting a win32 Delphi
"data-aware" app into a VCL.net one?  Any pointers would help.
