Well, for me my article

was submitted/accepted in September 2003, and I haven't been paid yet.

Following John Kaster's advice, I sent him and the person he mentioned
(Karen Giles?) a follow-up email around six months ago (IIRC). So, it's a
year and eight months and running, so far.

I'm all for people writing articles for BDN, but I wouldn't suggest doing it
for the (small) pecuniary benefits. You might as well tick the box and give
it to Borland gratis, IMO.
