Delphi IDE Suddenly Disappearing

One more than one occasion I've had the D7 IDE suddenly disappear. For
example, it just happened to me when debugging.

I only mention this because I get tired of people pretending that D7 is
somehow the Rock of Gibraltar while D2005 is a house of cards. My experience
is that D7 is buggier, and that D2005 with patch #3 is actually an
improvement over D7. (Keep in mind that I am doing Win32 programming in
D2005, not .NET.)
