LOL :-) How are you Ralf? Have you got yourself a new car yet? I'm
looking for a fairly new VW Passat (Diesel of course) now :-)

But on the topic, I agree with you wholeheartedly. The price
differential is just too much. In the case of German versions (or
French versions, or Spanish etc, etc) there is the issue of the
language. I have no idea how much that is 'worth'.

If you guys want me to source US English language versions for you, I'm
right there. I'd be delighted to ship anywhere within the EU. UK VAT
currently runs at 17.5%. I am certain I can save significant money
even taking VAT into account.

I'm looking into opening a US corporation to get tax benefits over
there thus reducing the US purchase price further. Luckily, I still
have a lot of contacts from my 6 years spent working over there :-)
