I don't know where you are getting this idea that C# is somehow safer
against Mono. C# has *nothing* to do with the Mono implementation. C# is
just one language that emits IL code. It is up to Mono to implement the
entire CLR, Mono does nothing whatsoever that is language-specific.

There is exactly the *same* risk, no more and no less, than using C# or
VB.Net because it has *nothing* to do with the language!
