Ask Larry Elison. He will support my claim

Wrong. MSSQL 2000 is not MS ACCESS with steroids. I use
Oracle, SQL Server and MS ACCESS everyday to know well
enough

Yukon will redefine RDBMS market. I predicted a couple of
years ago that .NET Framework, Web Services and XML will
change the landscape in application programming. I was
correct. Watch out, Yukon will shake the whole world. Don't
be left behind.

My first foray into RDBMS is via MS ACCESS. I learned about
tables relations, referential integrity, etc. And by the
time I was learning Oracle (PL/SQL and Administration)
it was less painful. I'm quite sure quite a large number
of people got into RDBMS via MS Access. Thanks to Bill Gate.
If it weren't for him, computing will still be left for the
few self acclaimed "sant." Microsoft brought fun into this
profession.

Have you been to their shops? They also use MS SQL Server as
well. Watch out, Redmond is coming. I read lately (sorry
I could not produce the source at this time), that MS SQL
Server is gaining ground on DB2 and Oracle.

The popularity of MySQL should speak for itself.

I reserve the right to express my opinion and conclude about
my assumption.

Peace out.
