C#? Working on one good size project... aside from work related stuff...
No ASP at this point other then reporting services, sorry, I am more of PHP
fun... and there was no demand so far dor ASP for my projects...
Now, to say it is not possible to do good GUI in C#? not true
there is not much of WinForms projects? not true and will be less true with
release of VS2005... I am writing my project using it... and so far it is
better in some areas then BDS... but there is DeXter... so will see.
Having huge experience with SQL2000 I am looking forward for SQL2005 and
..Net2.0 is important for me, so...
PS. and remember quote bellow is a quote...
but I put it here because it does represent a reality of the market, can we
see it and admit it? it is a reality.
Now, what I found for myself is that there is no "pure" projects - just
Delphi or just C#, there is a lot of integration and without understanding
of both side it is not an effective way to do business...
If we are saying that Delphi is (or will be) as supperior as VS then they
should be as similar feature wise as posible, it is hard, but it is
possible.
Small thing to the job and missing small things create disadvantages.
Competitive products have to compete and be in the same race, otherwise it
is sad situation.
