Exactly. My business requirement is for Delphi to continue to be the
best all-purpose development tool around, to maximise my investment in
my code base. I am starting to think that this is no longer a goal for
Borland - or at least that their definition of best is predicated on
their vision of SDO.

I have had over 10 years' good value from Borland. If our best
interests no longer coincide, then fair enough. Good luck to both of us.
