I'm not sure what you mean by "rewriting." Together has *always* had
more extensive refactoring than Delphi (look at standalone Together if
you don't understand). If DeXter uses Together's refactoring then I
would expect more refactorings for more personalities; D2005 is limited
by comparison. U

nless you mean "what was the justification for not using Together in
D2005," in which case I would imagine it was because the integration
with Together wasn't ready for that level of interaction with the
editor early enough (this is speculation, though).
