Re: Avoiding Booleans & Danny Thorpe

>>1. Is Danny Thorpe the Danny of Borland fame? Did he contribute to these books?

Yes. This is from the Annotators' Biographies in the book:
"DT- Danny Thorpe is a Borland Chief Scientist working on software development tools for .NET, Windows, and Linux
platforms. Danny graduated with a B.S. in mathematics from Louisiana State University in 1990. He played a small part in
the creation of Delphi in 1995, authored "Delphi Component Design" in 1997, and by 2003 was Lead Engineer for the Delphi
for .NET project. In 1994, he chipped in with some friends to write a pinball simulation which, later became Microsoft's
"Space Cadet Pinball." Danny hosts the Delphi Compiler Core blog at http://homepages.borland.com/dthorpe/blog/delphi. In
his spare time, he thinks about snowboarding and rewriting "Space Cadet" in .NET managed code."
