I was usable, but it was too slow anyway. I use laptop, so I guess this is the main reason of slow speed.

If you're using 2006, Id be very worried if it was so slow on your
machine you had to remove all that to make it useable.. as Ive run it
on a p1000 with 512mb and it was still perfectly useable..
