After being on hold for some time she came back to say she had talked to John about it (I explained I had already been through this once) and they are working on it and will get back to me.
What really ticks me off about this is the manner they are taking when they initially call. There is no question about whether I can split the two licenses and have SA on one and not the other, they think my only two choices are to either buy another SA license or get a refund on the one I purchased. They are wrong.
At first I was thinking like Anders that this was just a matter of poor training, but I know without a doubt now, that is not the case.

Currently I am on hold with "Julie" from Borland. She called to inform me that I had to either buy another SA license or take a refund on the one I purchased.
I explained that wasn't going to happen and she put me on hold to talk to someone else.
Obviously it's not just a matter of one person making a mistake.

Yesterday I was just mad, but after sleeping on it now I am just frustrated. I know the Borland focus is on the large corporations and they have ignored the small shops for some time, but I was not prepared for them to actually try to unsell a product they had already sold.
It sounds like this John guy is new, or at least inexperienced. You can certainly
buy Delphi with or without SA. This of course means that you can buy some
with SA and some without SA. Hey, even the shop site allowed it.
Anyway, I certainly understand your frustration. Been there myself with other
companies.
I hope you have what you wanted by now.
If John calls back, have him call me and I'll set him straight.
:p
