We never implemented more than text printing. We had requests for
formatted printing, including graphics.
We had a couple of apps that printed graphs and used color to highlight
important information. They only worked with Epson printers that supported
a specific version of epson's print control language. We were in the
process of trying to figure out something to support the HP printers that
the hospital was starting to standardize on.
