I have uninstalled using that uninstall tool and reinstalled the VS2005.
No change in the error messages.
Then I did the manual uninstall and reinstalled the VS2005 again
Again no change in the errors:
---------------------------
Microsoft Visual Studio

Package Load Failure
Package 'Visual Studio Class Designer Package' has failed to load properly ( GUID =
{DD1683A7-5A4C-4234-81B3-A4CC91DBEAC9} ). Please contact package vendor for assistance. Application restart is
recommended, due to possible environment corruption. Would you like to disable loading this package in the future?
You may use 'devenv /resetskippkgs' to re-enable package loading.

Could not load type 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.IVsRunningDocumentTable2' from assembly

This last exception occur everytime I try to access the Designer.
I can look at the code editor but not the form designer.
I can also compile and run the executable with the default form, but I can't see that form in the IDE.
Is it trying to find a dll with the name "Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.8.0" per the error message?
In that case, the dll what I have is
"Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.dll"
I don't see a dll that ends with ".8.0"
Btw, I am trying VS2005 Pro from msdn DVD December 2005.
This looks like a final version to me. (Not a beta).
Any ideas?
It's almost 2:00 AM in the morning!
I never had this kind of horrible experience with any of the Borland tools!!
Thanks,
Sarah
