The problem is in ASP.NET 2.0 the security stuff is so easy, all this
custom login stuff is obsolete.
So true, but one thing that has made me a better programmer, is to know
what goes on under the hood. Obviously, there's always a line to be
drawn. But there's another point, if the program was written during a
time when 2.0 wasn't around, and it works, there's no need to "fix" it
(immediately).
I forgot to say, it isn't obsolete if you plan on making the website using
Delphi 2006 or earlier, then the old 1.x paradigms are still king...
