It's 2006? It has taken that long to get back to what was being done 20
years ago. I agree that it is sometimes necessary to take one step back
to go two steps forward, but this is ridiculous.
I don't even know what to say to that.
Believe me it's crap. Been there done that? Oh sorry, it wasn't called
dot net (some sarcasm, for fun only).
What was it called?
Yea, market forces! I can buy something at wal-mart that costs 1/3 less
but only lasts 1/4 as long before it breaks, market forces, you gotta
love 'em.

Who is "you"?
Whoever.
It's important to know who you are referring to with "you", otherwise the
sentence is a meaningless generalization, which it could be regardless.
I can't help but find humor that a developer believes that web based
applications and the internet is a fad...in 2006. *shrug*
Internet good, browser OK, browser based apps still around in 2006 bad!
It's not nearly that simple, but ok.
