BDS 2006 Update

I just purchased the Enterprise upgrade and downloaded the update 1 and
tried to run it. I got the error that the file to update is not there or it
may be a different version. I assume this means the out of the box version
I got is already up to update 1. Is there a way to know for sure?

By the way, the packaging that the update comes in is a the some of the most
impressive packaging I have ever seen.
