Borlands prices in the worlds largest market
The price of Delphi2006 Enterprise is expensive in China. It is even
more expensive than the price in USA. I ordered it during their sales
promotion but it is still as much as 6 months' salary of a normal
programmer in big city.
It is admirable that you bought it.
However, I wonder at the wisdom of Borland's Chinese pricing policy.
Such an inflated price surely must drive many Chinese programmers to
either use an illegitimately acquired copy or else to use an
alternative development environment.
