Have they? There is a bug in VS2005 that bugs (pun intented) the craps out
me. Namely, when a solution is open and you open a new one, the tabs will
flicker like crazy for several seconds while the IDE updates itself. Where
is the fix for this one? I can't find it on either MSDN or by using
Microsoft Update (which BTW is where the VS2005 installer directs you when
you click the Check For Updates item).

Have you filled out a bug report at MSDN?

BTW I just posted I've been playing around with it and it isn't doing this.
Is it a flicker that freezes the IDE or is it something that's just fairly
"cosmetic"?

I suppose you can get these issues fixed at lightning speed if you have a
support and maintenace contract in place (you get a couple of free
incidents with your MSDN subscription), but FWIW so can Borland.

Lightning fast was a comparative term. I used it to compare the speed at
which things get fixxed in Microsoft products in comparison to Borland.
Lightning fast, indeed AFAICT.
