It definitely adds a real veneer of professionalism.

I'm *very* apprehensive of using the new "ribbon" UI, since it's throwing years of standard layouts out the window, but my guess is DevExpress will be providing the tools to accomplish this UI.

I followed Oliver Townshend's advice from up the thread
to take a look at them. I e-mailed about eta and they
came back saying hopefully it will be in three to four
months time when the Office 2007-alike ExpressBars v6
release could become available - sounds fine for my
own project.
