As this case demonstrates very well, a report doesn't have to be open
for QC to be effective. QC is /more/ effective if a report is open,
yes, but simply reporting the issue to QC got Alex a workaround he
could use in this case. QC is not merely for communication from users
to Borland, but from users to other users as well.
