Yes, Finland is part of the Scandinavia, but Finnish language is a member
of the Finno-Ugric language family as is Hungary. The other languages in

Tell me about it, I met and married my wife in Sweden while I was working
there, if only I had understood the language.;-)

FYI Finnish is one of the most difficult languages in world and you should
never try to learn it if you want to keep your sanity.
