I would have agreed about 5 years ago but not anymore. Upgrades are a
headache for most companies, I don't know anyone how upgrades OSs unless
they come pre installed on a computer. I remember people preordering
Win95,NT4,98,ME, and 2K, now only about half of our clients still use
Win2K. Almost all the corporations we do work for have the themes
disabled on their WinXP boxes, just as it comes by default in Server
2003.

You talk about corporations. I'm talking about consumers (I should have
qualified my consumers as owners of home computers).

You talk about upgrading the OS, I'm talking about downloading and
installing just another .NET runtime component on existing Win-XP machines.

It is estimated that there are some 500 million computers with Win-XP
installed.
