I wonder what this is all about. A year ago I had a manager of a large plant of a multi-national corp say that he wanted to turn off the database collection system and convert the program units from inches to something that only they would understand due to SOX. While we didn't go along with this, the concern was over liability lawsuits and the possibility that the lawyers would get into the production data to prove fault. Managers are really concerned about SOX. Has anyone lost a contract over it?
