Seriously, though, why would a user purchase a Win64 system without
packing it with decent amounts of RAM from the start? Even if he did that,
he would probably consider upgrading the RAM simply to be able to run more
32-bit processes without having them swapped out all of the time. Hint: It
is nice to be able to run four instances each of BDS2006 and VS2005 and
actually being able to work with them. ;)

I agree, that's the main benefit I find. I fitted 4GB in mine, though 1GB
was stolen by Intel :-(
