I'm sure that it is just misguided enthusiasm but I truly feel that dogmatic
actions of this sort can only hinder Borland's / Delphi prospects. I
recommend that Jon's announcement be posted in all Borland newsgroups that
are at all related to Delphi or .NET and an article be posted on BDN. This
sort of promotional information needs to be widely promulgated - never
suppressed.

I do not agree. That opens the door to crossposting an announcement for
every trivial component, book or seminar to all groups.

And before you argue that this is different, each and any of them feels they
have some claim that makes it important that all Delphi users must read it.
