Yep, Vista Aero is intended for use with a video system that fully
integrates DirectX 9c which means that all that fancy "faffing about"
that Liz talks about is done by the video processor with it's own
memory. It's only when the video system is inadequate and the OS uses
software emulation of DirectX is there a noticable impact on the OS
CPU and memory. Oh my gosh, the spelling checker has a problem with
"faffing" it thinks that the speech of those Brit ladies like Liz is
too colourful.<g>
bah! faff is not colourful!!
Well OK if you say so...
The trouble with using such slang expressions is that they don't translate
very well. For example one can hardy say that Vista is "Behaving
Indecisively" when doing all that fancy "faffing about"<g>

FAFF is not available in the general English dictionary and thesaurus. Try:
Acronyms:: Foreign Air Freight Forwarding License (license for foreign air
freight operators to operate in US)
http://www.usingenglish.com/reference/phrasal-verbs/faff+about.html
Meaning: Behave indecisively
Example:
He told her to stop FAFFING ABOUT and make her mind up.
