Re: Delphi in more schools (was Re: Microsoft here I come)


At the most prestigeous schools, teaching the latest and greatest is much
more likely to be seen as important than being a trade school catering to
what businesses think is useful.

At my university, most of the lecturers went out of their way to make it clear they were ***not** catering to business whims. They taught us principles that would stand us in good stead over the years, rather than whatever was flavour of the month in business.
