....because you get to continue using the (real) VCL
whilst using .NET beside it in the same application
and can mix and match where it makes sense to do so.
IMHO, if that had been Delphi's approach from day one
they really would have stolen a march on Redmond as MS
seemingly took a while to wake up to the attractiveness
of that concept (ask any C++ guru about which MS approach
they prefer - managed C++ or C++/CLI).
