Yeah, but I thought the response was a little bit OTT in
terms of insinuating that you would be stuck in a some GUI
ghetto if you stayed with native code. There are /always/
options and they don't have to be crummy one's either :-)
Well IMO your response was a little too thin on what difficulties one can
expect to encounter if they willy-nilly think that hosting WPF in a
Delphi/W32 app while staying in all native code is going to be as easy as
falling off a log. I've leave it to others to judge is that's a crummy
option but you can guess my opinion on that as an option.<g>
I'm actually more interested in WPF/e at this juncture myself ;-)
AFAIK WPF/E is aimed at browser hosted client apps rather than desktop apps.
I am following the blogs of Jesse Ezell, Joe Stegman, and Mike Harsh in an
effort to follow developments in the WPF/E space - how are you pursuing your
interest.
