How much ram has your PC got? A couple of major things to check are..
/3gb on your startup of windows
disable AV running on your vm guest directory.
I may well do that. But what I really should do is nag my brother
about the copy of VMWare Workstation he promised me. :-)
You could download the trial and see how that performs. :)
