Have you tried going to the install newsgroup?
"borland.public.install.delphi"
They might be able to help you.

Hi All,
It really pains me to have to complain about this in a public forum but I
feel I no longer have any choice.
I received the CDs for this 3 weeks ago and installed them, eager to get
my
grubby mitts on said product.
Installation was fine.
Problem kicked in when I tried to register it. Each time I enter serial
number and registration key and click on Next, I get "Could not find valid
Product Information".
At first I thought, no biggie, and tried reinstalling several times with
the
same result.
I waited patiently until following Monday when Installation Support got in
and called up. Over the next 3 days, I spoke to 4 separate people who
suggested installing Update 2, installing on the same drive where Windows
is
installed, all to no effect. One of them suggested using the BDS2005
registration tool after blowing away my registrations for BDS2005 and this
appeared to work but ended up trying to use the BDS2005 packages in
BDS2006,
so I had to abandon this.
Finally, they decided to refer this to a developer who was supposed to
give
me a call the next day.
I have not heard a word from this developer in two weeks. Not a single
call
or even email.
I called Installation Support to complain about this on Monday and they
said
they were to escalate it to his manager.
Still nothing. Not even a ping to say, "I am working on it".
I am flabbergasted at the level of contempt shown to a paying customer.
Please bear in mind the fact that I have not been able to use the darned
product throughout this period.
If this is a sign of things to come with DevCo then I think it is time to
abandon ship despite the fact that I have rooted for Borland for years
with
every employer I have worked for.
Cheers
-Mohamed
