Re: Unable to register BDS2006 Enterprise on Windows 2000 Server edition

Hi Rick,

I think you will find that registration is required at least once.

After that, if you uninstall and reinstall, your previous registration
information appears to be preserved.

My problem is that I have not been able to get registration to ever work.

Cheers

Installation was fine.

Problem kicked in when I tried to register it. Each time I enter serial
number and registration key and click on Next, I get "Could not find
valid
Product Information".

<snip>

Please bear in mind the fact that I have not been able to use the darned
product throughout this period.

Sorry to hear about that; sounds like you've had a really bad experience.

But one thing has me confused. In another thread, a TeamB member just
told me that registration is an optional step, and is not required to
get the software to run. You're saying your experience is different.

Can you confirm that your problem with registering is also keeping you
from using the product?
