Coz NET will fail and the new Devco will be light years ahead.
Red and yellow boxes are back on my shelf as we speak.
I've never understood this naysaying about .NET. Like it or not, by
definition, it CANNOT fail, unless everyone suddenly decides to pack up shop
and move en masse to Linux or something.
..Net will fail for commercial non-hosted software. Who in their right
mind would use .Net (or Java) for commercial non-hosted software when
your exe can so easily be decompiled into the original source code.
Untill everyone goes to open source and/or hosted applications,
commercial developers need viable development tools.
