I take issue with that. C++ Builder atrophied a few years ago, but
has since reappeared much stronger than it ever was.

Yet the current personality in BDS 2006 appears to be no better than
C++ Builder V6. Still the same 50% speed compared to similar apps in
VC++ with Dhrystone tests. Still difficulties with building "open
source" stuff. Very few people support C++ Builder as an option,
usually it's VC++.
